Meet Amanda
Hi, I'm Amanda — founder and lead stylist at Evolve Salon. I opened Evolve because I wanted a place where guests felt seen the moment they sat down. No cookie-cutter consultations, no rushing through services, no leaving with a haircut that only looked right while I held the brush. Just thoughtful, personalized work and conversations that actually go somewhere.
I've spent more than a decade behind the chair, and somewhere along the way I fell hard for dimensional color — balayage, foilayage, lived-in blondes that look beautiful on day one and even better at week ten. I'm also certified in hand-tied extensions, which has become one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Watching someone catch their reflection after an install and light up — that never gets old.
What you can expect
Every appointment at Evolve starts with a real consultation. I want to know about your hair history, your routine at home, how much heat you actually use, and what "low maintenance" honestly means to you. From there we build a plan together — one you can keep up with and one you'll feel good about between visits.
Beyond the salon
When I'm not behind the chair, I'm probably chasing my kids around, refreshing my own roots (occupational hazard), or out grabbing coffee somewhere in Springfield. Evolve is family-run and locally-rooted, and we love nothing more than seeing familiar faces walk through the door.
A note on the team
I'm joined by Raegen, who shares my obsession with great color and clean cuts. Between us, we've built a small studio that feels more like coming over to a friend's place than checking in at a busy chain — warm lighting, good music, real conversation, and hair you'll love.
